Elijah Main came to RG Mechanical in the fall of 2019 by way of a construction trades vocational class at VUJC. And he did such a good job for us, we decided to hire him when his class was over. It’s hard to say which Karen Wiscaver knows her way around more: the Huntingburg area or a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet. She’s been balancing books for over 40 years and enjoying all that our community has to offer for over 50 years. Having grown up in Jasper, Karen was born into “numbers” as her father was also an accountant. Karen’s “hidden talent” may be one of the worst-kept secrets in the office. Born and raised in the Huntingburg area, Cole Byers is a homegrown HVAC technician here at RG Mechanical. He’s a natural in the field as he’s been interested in the trade since high school and having 3.5 previous years of experience in Warrick County. Cole especially enjoys the small-town vibe of the community and the comfortable work/life balance that working at RG affords him. Friends and family know Cole as an avid sports fan. For a man that admittedly doesn’t reside in the Huntingburg area, Bob Barrell sure seems to fit right in here at RG Mechanical. The crew at RG mechanical “works to please” according to Bob and that suits him perfectly. As a self-described journeyman plumber, he has learned the importance of “doing it right the first time.” Known around the office as “Barrelhead,” Bob’s work ethic is infectious. Louis Simanovich (AKA Rob) has been a service plumber for RG Mechanical for a little over 2 ½ years. Although he’s newer to the team, he’s not new to plumbing. He’s been working a wrench alongside his father since he was just 12 years old and he’s been perfecting his craft ever since. Scott Smith may be a man of few words, but that doesn’t stop him from getting the job done, and getting it done right. He’s been an HVACR Tech with RG Mechanical since they opened their doors in the fall of 2015. (HVACR stands for Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning and Refrigeration, by the way.) As project foreman, it’s Ross Hoffman’s responsibility to make sure that RG Mechanical jobs get done right, right from the get-go. He’s been with RG Mechanical since it opened its doors in September 2015 and has worked in the industry for eight years. He credits his brother for helping him get his start. Matt Gasser is no newbie, and the folks in Huntingburg know it. Matt was born in Huntingburg, Indiana, raised there, and worked there – in the HVAC, refrigeration, and plumbing industry – for a full 33 years before RG Mechanical opened its doors in the fall of 2015.
